Every Monday through October 1, we host a FREE fishing seminar from 10-11 AM at the Osage Beach City Park Pond Pavilion. Every week, we cover a new fishing related topic and provide insider tips and tricks that we know work because we've successfully used them all! Here are the upcoming seminar dates and who will be speaking:

Upcoming Seminar Topic
This coming Monday (June 11th), the seminar will cover Carolina rigging in the summertime. Carolina rigging is a deadly way to rig a worm for summer bass fishing. When the fish are on deep structure, offshore ledges, and other open areas you'd be hard pressed to beat it. It's also a great option for dock fishing when the bass move into the midday shadows. At this seminar, you'll learn many tips and tricks about rigging a carolina rig.

Brush Pile Fishing at the Lake of the Ozarks

Learning how to find and fish the brush piles at Lake of the Ozarks is an important part of any bass angler’s education. Some fishermen take a “do-it-yourself” approach to placing brush piles in the lake, hoping to create enticing hideouts where they can go to catch big bass. The Missouri Department of Conservation also contributes to the placement of brush piles in LOZ, and provides a free app available in both Android and iPhone formats that point anglers to the specific locations of these fish attractors. Even though many anglers hang up their gear and winterize their boat at the close of fall, winter can be one of the best times to catch a true trophy. In winter, bass will slow down and move deeper along with eating much less. Because of this pattern, we must adapt our techniques. Before you begin fishing, you need to find the fish. Where The Fish Are Hiding When finding fish, preciseness is key because any cold-water fish does not have the energy to chase a fast-moving bait.
