The 28th Annual Fish For Sight tournament will be taking place in less than two weeks. Registration is open, and if you’ve been wanting to take part in a fishing tournament at the Lake of the Ozarks but haven’t been able to yet, this is one you won’t want to miss. Bassing Bob has all of the information you need to know about the tournament and this amazing cause. Check it out below and don’t forget to register!

Fish for Sight

Saturday, April 28th
4:00 – 8:00 pm: Complimentary fish fry with Busch beer and tournament check-in.

Sunday, April 29th
Check-in opens at 5:30 am | Flights begin at 7:00 am (weather permitting)
The tournament will take place at Public Beach #2 (PB2) in Lake of the Ozarks.
Complimentary BBQ during the weigh-in. There will also be attendance prizes and raffles.
*Food and beverage provided for tournament participants. Available for non-participants with a donation requested.

Entry Fee - $200 per boat (includes big bass)

First Place: $12,000
(based on the maximum field of 300 boats, $7,500 min. 1st place)
One place per 10 entries

3 Big Bass - $1,500 / $1,000 / $500

About The Tournament

The Concord Village Lions is a service organization, and all of the profits from the Fish For Sight Tournament go to benefit some sort of EYE related research or care. As of the culmination of the 2017 Tournament, this event has generated over $1,007,096 over the last 27 years, all of which has been used to help thousands of people, the majority of whom are children.

Learning how to find and fish the brush piles at Lake of the Ozarks is an important part of any bass angler’s education. Some fishermen take a “do-it-yourself” approach to placing brush piles in the lake, hoping to create enticing hideouts where they can go to catch big bass.
