Our Expert Team is currently made up of 3 individuals who have an incredible amount of experience with fishing and want to share their knowledge with you. About James

James is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Lake of the Ozarks guide whose goal is to make your fishing experience a fun and educational one. He has been fishing the Lake of the Ozarks both for fun and competitively for 20 years with great success, and has spent many hours developing seasonal patterns to catch fish all year long.

James has won around 20 of the bigger bass tournaments and is best known for his jig-fishing skills. James is the owner of James Dill Guide Service and Cock-o-Gator Bait Company.

Learning how to find and fish the brush piles at Lake of the Ozarks is an important part of any bass angler’s education. Some fishermen take a “do-it-yourself” approach to placing brush piles in the lake, hoping to create enticing hideouts where they can go to catch big bass.
